William Nevills was born in Canada in 1841. In the 1860's he owned a saloon in Fiddletown.

and later the Nevills mine. He was administrator to Judge Moore's estate.His father was born

in Canada, his mother in New Jersey. His wife, Ruth G. Nevills, was Born in Massachusetts,

probably in 1842. Her father was born in Massachusetts, her mother in New Jersey.
