About Andrews

George Snowden Andrews was born in New York ca. 1830. He was Jackson Wells Fargo Agent from May, 1857 until his

retirement in 1875. His wife, Jane R. Andrews, was also born ca. 1830, in New Hampshire. His son, Amador, was born ca.

1854 in California. Amador was listed in the 1880 census as "Express Messenger". George S. was listed as "promoting new

patent".His daughter, Georgia E., also born in California, was still living with him in 1910. His wife Jane was not.
